Accommodation
Woollahra Sailing Club is situated on the ferry city route. A large number of hotels are located at Darling Harbour (accessed by ferry) along with several locally or experience the local beach life and stay at the world famous Bondi Beach with a casual 15 minute bike ride to the venue.

Support Vessel Registration
All support vessel for Sail Sydney need to be registered for the regatta, if you have not registered yet >> CLICK HERE
Support Vessels
Radio channels, Course A and D - Channel (tba) , Course B - Channel (tba), Course C - Channel (tba).
Support vessel & procedures is available online (coming soon), we recommend you familiarise yourself with the Procedure and Contact list for on water safety.
Support Vessel Launching and Mooring
Mooring will be available at WSC & GRSC for support vessels during the event, please use allocated area.
Launching at Woollahra - Support boats may be launched from the public wharf at Rose Bay 200m from WSC, support boats cannot be launched at WSC.
Launching at Georges River - Launching coach boats will not be possible from the club however there are several public launching ramps around Botany Bay and in the Georges River.
Public launching ramps are available at:
- Kogarah Bay – Torwood Street – Sans Souci
- Blakehurst Dover Park – Princes Highway
- Tom Ugly’s Bridge South – Princes Highway
- Kurnell Bonna Point - Prince Charles Parade
- Sylvania Waters Hawkesbury Reserve - Moruya Avenue
- Sylvania Waters – Holts Point Place
- Oyster Bay – Connell Road

Bump in and boat drop off
Bump in at WSC is as below
- Optimist between Friday 6th December 1200 - 1700 and Saturday 7th 0800 - 0900
- Olympic Classes between 0800 - 1600 Thursday 5th December
- Youth Classes between 1300 - 1700 Thursday 5th December & 0800 - 1100 Saturday 6th December
- Invited Classes between 1500 - 1800 Friday 6th December & 0800 - 1100 Saturday 7th December
Trailer parking will be available for boats dropped off during these times. Trailer storage will not be available for boats arriving outside these times.
Boats and trolleys should be unloaded as quickly as possible and are to be moved to the allocated rigging area; please refer to the site-map page on the website.
Getting to the Club
There is very limited parking available near the Club. We encourage you to travel to the event via public transport. Do not expect to get parking at or near the Club. There are large parking stations at Bondi Junction, Double Bay, and Edgecliff. You may wish to park at one of these locations and then travel to WSC via public transport, taxi, uber etc.

Very limited public parking is available at Woollahra Sailing Club
Competitor and Support Vessel Briefings
The competitor briefing will be conducted via Zoom Thursday 6th December 1800hrs.
This is open to Competitors, Coaches, Support boats, Officials and Volunteers
A recording of the briefing will be posted on the Sail Sydney FaceBook after the briefing.
Facilities
WSC Cafe – will be open and can cater for all your needs during the Regatta, Athlete Chill Out zone (teepee tent) & more
Wind Foiling, Wingfoil and Kites
Venue will be Georges River Sailing Club with racing on Botany Bay.
Presentation
Presentation ceremony will be conducted at WSC asap after racing on the final day for each fleet & after the protest time limit.
Registration
If you wish to make changes to your registration email regattas@woollahrasailing.org.au Note: no changes will be accepted after 1730 hrs on Wednesday 5th December (the day before racing starts)
Sign on / off
A text message will be sent to you with the mobile provided from the registration form to sign on / off, If you have not received the sign on/off text message please email regattas@woollahrasailingclub.org.au
To view the list of competitors signed on/off on your smart phone:
- Open up a web browser on your phone
- Go to sailingresults.net
- Select Sail Sydney
- Save this link to your home page
- In the menu, there is a link to the list of competitors signed on/off, Protest / Protest Times / Results
If you are not sailing on the day please register via the app you won’t be sailing. If you are having issues with the sign on/off on the day please call 0423 395 476.
